I was referred for a Gall Bladder removal. I cannot praise Christian enought he is an excellent doctor, very caring, and explained in detail the operation I was to undergo. He fitted in the surgery around my timetable and was very attentive pre and post operation.

Mr Macutkiewicz saved my husbands life after a routine colonoscopy went wrong. The care he gave my husband was amazing. He was happy to talk us through what would happen. His manner was very calming and reassuring. When I was able to see him, he was happy to talk to me about my husbands condition. He couldn’t have done more for my husband. I will be forever grateful for what he did.

I was referred to Mr Macutkiewicz for his expertise in Gall bladder removal .He is extremely thorough .He explained the cause of my gall stones , any complications that they may come across and the full procedure that i would be having. I was confident that my operation was going to be the best outcome for my symptoms .Mr Macutkiewicz was very thorough and came to see me after the operation and again the following morning. I had a call from his secretary a few days later , just to check i was doing ok . My scars are so neat ! Hopefully i don't have any more health problems , but if i needed to see Mr Macutkiewicz again i would be happy and confident any procedure would be done to an outstanding level .He is a friendly , kind , thorough , precise surgeon. I would highly recommend

I was referred onto Dr Macutkiewicz from Stepping Hill to do a complete cholecystectomy & correct the previous operation they'd done. He was fantastic, listened to all my questions answered everything in full, explained the procedure in full including sketches and went through the possible complications of my particular surgery. He put me completely at ease and I felt confident that he would do everything he could to correct the problems I was having. On the surgery day, once I'd had the operation he personally called my next of kin to advise how the surgery had gone. He visited me every morning in hospital to check how I was progressing & in my follow up appointment 8 weeks after the operation he answered my queries. I'd definitely recommend him as a consultant, he's given me my quality of life back again.
